Hello from REUNION,
I would
like to update all of you on some recent developments
related to Pat's surgery. As many of you know Pat had a
tumor removed from her abdomen a few weeks ago. Everything
seemed to be going fine with her recovery until she was
informed that cancer was found in the tumor. This is a very
rare form of cancer and it took doctors from many parts of
the country to finally determine that cancer was indeed
present. The good news is that the doctors say that Pat
should be fine.
Pat had her
thyroid surgery a couple of weeks ago and everything went
fine. She is recovering well and in a few weeks she will
begin treatments to find and kill any cancer cells that
remain in her body. Pat will be having a radio active type
treatment that will require her to be isolated in the
hospital for three or four days and then she will still not
be able to have much contact for several days while the
radio active levels drop to a safe level in her body. We
will keep you posted on Pat's progress as she continues her
treatments. Until Pat finishes her treatments and gets
better Reunion will not be accepting any singing dates.
After Pat gets
better Reunion will be excited to be back on the
road singing and spreading God's message of good news
through song. We look forward to seeing you then.
For a complete
schedule of our upcoming dates please visit the schedule
page in this web site.
We need to
continue to pray for the many young men and women still
stationed in foreign lands protecting our freedom. Many other US men and
women are still in harm's way so let's continue to pray for
and support them. Pat and Stacy have two sons, Bowen and
Benny who are presently serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. We are so
blessed to live in "the land of the free and the home of the
brave."
Please come to see us if we are going to be singing near
your area. Reunion appreciates your prayers and
support so very much. We are honored that we are given
the opportunity to spread the Gospel message through music.
